Today marks the year anniversary of 9/11. It's weird to think that 6 years ago today, I was sitting in a 7th grade classroom watching the news coverage on TV. My, how much has changed in 6 years. Today, we remember the hero's that went down with the planes, the hero's that were in the towers and the pentagon, and the field in PA. We pay tribute to the hero's who went into the twin towers, who went in to the pentagon, and who spent many days and nights trying to find the survivors. As I sit and remember, I am reminded of how crazy blessed I am to live in a free country. How blessed I am to live in a country that fights for their freedom, and doesn't let any other country get away with something like this. Some of my dear friends are in the armed forces, and have been or are in Iraq fighting the war on terror, and I am so greatful that they answered the call to defend you and I. Weather someone agrees with the war or not, point blank, we ONE nation, UNITED and together we stand, or together we'll fall. But I remember thinking 6 years ago, that I take too much for granted, I take for granted that I will see my family/friends again. Take the time today to tell someone you love them...and remember those who lost someone on 9/11
